Andrew Rabbidge Andrew started with Milward Finlay Lobb in 1995 and was appointed a Company Director in 1999.

Specialising in Resource Managment Planning and Cadastral Surveying, Andrew has years of local experience to guide clients through the resource management and subdivision process from the initial investigation through to completion and the issue of new titles.

Kayne Robinson - BE(hons), GIPENZ Engineer - Director

Kayne joined Milward Finlay Lobb 2015 and since 2020 has become a Company Director.

He designs structural systems, provides structural drawings and carries out site inspections for a range of clients.

Kayne is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng)

Brian Lobb has 40 years experience in the Civil and Structural Engineering fields and has recently retired, however he remains working as a Consultant 1-2 days a week as a Civil & Structural Engineer.

Blair Hanlin - Senior Surveying Technician

Blair Hanlin

Blair started with Milward Finlay Lobb straight from School in 1980.

Since then he has been involved with many varied types of surveying from LT surveys, Topographical Surveys, Engineering Surveys/Setout/AsBuilt, Storage Dam Design and Setout through to Hydrographic Surveys.

Blair undertakes both Field and Office work using GNSS and conventional Survey methods and also prepares plans using CAD software and final E-Survey plans.

Blair spends a lot of time working in the Mackenzie Country and has a wealth of knowledge in this area.

Barry Mawhinney - Senior Head Engineering Technician

Barry started with Milward Finlay Lobb in 2015 and comes from a background in the civil construction industry, previously being a project / contracts manager with a large Canterbury earthmoving and civil construction company.
 
Barry prepares contract documents including specifications, schedules, tenders, payment certificates and spends time on site testing and observing progress.
 
In land development projects Barry believes in a team approach, including developers, local authorities, civil contractors and consultants, to deliver a project on time, on budget and to a high standard.

Catherine Bootherstone - Senior Surveying Technician

Cathy started with Milward Finlay Lobb in 1990.

Cathy is involved with land transfer subdivisions and land development projects in the preparation of applications for resource consents, CAD draughting, E-survey data capture, cross lease and unit plans, consulting with clients, Territorial Authorities and other land professionals.

Vicki Jacobs - Senior Survey Draftsperson

Vicki started with Milward Finlay Lobb in 2002 and works remotely from Ashburton.

Vicki is a survey CAD draughtswoman involved in drafting preliminary plans, E-survey captures, Land Transfers, cross lease and unit plans within Landonline (Land Information New Zealand).


 

Sam Elliotte - Surveyor

Sam started with Milward Finlay Lobb in 2014.

He is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor and deals with a variety of work involving planning, surveying and land development & engineering.

Andrew Ross - Planner

Andrew has had two years as a resource consents planner, before starting at Milward Finlay Lobb in June 2018.

Andrew is currently studying at Lincoln University full time and works for Milward Finlay Lobb in between school breaks.

Charlotte Honeywill - Subdivision Administrator

Charlotte Honeywill - Subdivision Administrator Charlotte started at Milward Finlay Lobb in 2016.

Charlotte prepares subdivision correspondence and applications for Director Andrew Rabbidge, liaising with clients on his behalf and working with Council's submitting/obtaining/following up on all paperwork related to subdivisions. 

Also does general administrative duties where required and assisting were possible with the Engineering team.

Eddy By far our best and most loyal staff member, Eddy.

He loves to go out in the field, just as much as he does walking around the office and helping everyone with their paperwork.

He is always saying hello to whoever walks in the door, and is most happy when someone is giving him a treat or a bit of their food in the smoko room
